About Us And The IVM Difference.

    Who We Are

Based in Bendigo. Working across Victoria.

Ironbark Vegetation Management is a Bendigo-based vegetation management contractor. We work across Central Victoria, and Victoria-wide for larger-scale projects.

Large private acreage, farmers, shires and councils, government agencies, utility easements and commercial contractors — that's the work we're set up for.

The work we're after is the sort that needs a machine and a plan: overgrown paddocks, tracks nobody has driven in years, easements and firebreaks that have to be done before summer.

Born and raised in Central Victoria, we know the terrain, the seasonal conditions and the fire risks.

However big the job, it ends the same way: ground cleared properly and left ready to use.

Before and after in one paddock: tall standing grass on one side of the cut line, slashed grass on the other, tractor along the line
From the machine: the slasher deck cutting through tall pasture edged with yellow flowers, cut grass behind

    What We Do

Vegetation management is the heart of it.

Getting vegetation under control and keeping it there is the job. We offer forestry mulching, acreage slashing, land clearing, farm and paddock clearing, land reclamation, fire season prep, easement and corridor clearing, orchard and vineyard maintenance, and waterway and creek line clearing.

Forestry mulching handles standing scrub, regrowth and suitable unwanted timber. Slashing keeps grass down. Clearing opens up paddocks, fence lines and access tracks. Fire season work covers mechanical fuel reduction, firebreaks, APZs and defendable space, with the work agreed around the site and its requirements.

Farms, plantations, vineyards, orchards, commercial sites, councils and utilities all need different finishes. We take on one-off clearing and scheduled maintenance, from removing old plantings and preparing for new ones to keeping approved corridors and creek lines accessible. We supply the right machinery for the job, with retained vegetation, waterways, assets and approvals checked before work starts.

Every job starts the same way: we walk the land with you, agree what stays and what goes, and work out the finish you need, whether that's grazing, building, fencing or just being able to get through it again.

    The IVM Difference

    Why Ironbark Vegetation Management?

Make more of your land with clearing planned around what you want to achieve. Whether you want better access, more room for pasture or a property that's easier to maintain, we assess the work on-site and explain what's suitable. You get a clear plan, a written quote and dedicated attention from start to finish.

Vegetation management is our focus. We take the time to understand what you want from your land, assess what needs cutting or clearing and plan the work around what needs to stay. One-off clearing, seasonal fire preparation or ongoing maintenance — we recommend an approach suited to the job rather than treating every property the same. Clear communication and care in how the work is carried out keep your goals at the centre of it.

    Our Promise
