Land Clearing and Bushfire Prep, Kilmore

Our Bendigo base. Your property.

Vegetation management — APZ, forestry mulching, slashing and fire season prep across Kilmore and the Mitchell Shire.

Kilmore and the Mitchell Shire run through serious bushfire country along the Hume corridor. Big lifestyle properties, hobby farms and rural residential properties sitting up against the ranges, all of it needing proper fuel load management before the fire danger period. Ironbark Vegetation Management works this country with forestry mulching, vegetation work scoped to the applicable permit, endorsed plan or notice, paddock slashing, blackberry removal and fence line work. On-site quote, written scope, done properly.

• 01The Mitchell Shire has significant BMO coverage through Kilmore, Broadford, Wandong, Heathcote Junction and Pyalong. BMO coverage alone does not establish an APZ requirement. Check any planning permit, endorsed bushfire management plan and ongoing conditions with council.
• 02Tall, dry grass can carry fast-moving fire. Slashing reduces grass fuel, but does not remove fire risk; timing follows growth, conditions and current restrictions.
• 03Blackberry along creek lines through the shire needs mechanical clearing first, with any regrowth treatment arranged separately through a suitable weed contractor.
• 04Fire danger period locks in early through the Hume corridor. Book APZ and paddock work before September for the best chance of getting on the schedule.
